Packed and ready?? Hell No!

Constantly procrastinating. Downloaded photos I took of Mel and Nick's wedding on the weekend (with my NEW camera), emailing, etc. but should be packing!! Don't even have travel insurance. Washing to be done. Less than 48 hours until I leave Albury. Crap. Must start on the list again...

Booked!!

After scouring the cheap flights on the net I booked my tickets yesterday, leaving in less than 2 WEEKS! Incredibly exciting - if someone else was going (and not me) I'd be insanely jealous. I hope this blog will help me not to bore everyone I know by talking about this non-stop until I leave...

28 Feb - to Melbourne - meet Charles on his way back to Auz from NZ en route to Mayanmar via Bangkok

01 Mar - Sydney - catch up with friends and try not to stay out all night and miss my next flight

02 Mar - New York (via Tahiti) - Philadeplhia - can't wait to see Grace, Daniel and Lawrence - it's been years since I've seen these guys and I've never met their son Laurence this before - this will be a fun weekend!

04 Mar - New York City - ahhh, Manhattan, the Guggenheim, so much to see and will hopefully catch up with Sarah, Diane and Deborah - girls I met when I was in Phnom Penh last year.

07 Mar - Buenos Aires (via Miami) - to spend 2 whole weeks!! I'm looking forward to seeing Lee and Flavia, meeting their family and friends, THE WEDDING, and checking out where they live. Awesome.

21 Mar - New York - two days and a night to break up the trip back home, and to see people/things I missed the first time around.

23 Mar - depart New York to arrive in

25 Mar - Sydney - Albury (my hometown)

26 Mar - work - I have a hunch I'll be a little exhausted!

Argentina aquí yo vengo!!

-- Argentina here I come!! --

Since my year 9 Geography project I've wanted to travel to Latin America, now thanks to a great friend I have the opportunity... Lee and Flavia are getting married in Argentina on March 17 and after working with my parents for 6 months, I need a break. So since lunchtime today, now yesterday, I've probably spent more than 8 hours online searching for flights. What a task! I want to leave in 2 weeks and it seems most of the standard flights to Buenos Aires are booked, looks like I'll need to pay thru the nose or go around the world to get there - I prefer the second option, but it will be a stretch to get back to work in time. Wish me luck!
